Good Maui Morning Smoothie

As you’ll come to find out, the morning smoothie is our go-to breakfast in this house.  It’s quick, portable, healthy, and can be made with almost any fruits and vegetables you have in the house.   You can add yogurt or protein powder and it will keep you going strong all morning long.  The disclaimer to this post and recipe is that we use the Vitamix, and I can’t comment on how this will taste if you use a regular blender- but if you can, please do!   The Vitamix puts the ‘smooth’ in smoothie.  It stays on my counter right between the toaster and the coffee maker, and I use it all the time.

Enough of my commercial for Vitamix, here is this morning’s smoothie recipe:

Good Maui Morning Smoothie

  • 4 cups Lettuce
  • 2 cups chopped Pineapple
  • juice 1 Lime
  • Water and Ice as desired.
